Q: Questionat the risk of sounding stupid ... I only need the 7.1 of the c60. but it says on the back panel that the last pairing of speakers is for 'back' surround. My last pairing are front atmos. Do I really need to spend an extra 800 for the c50?

• A:Answer Hello, yes, Bi-Amp configuration for the front left and right speakers is possible with the Marantz Cinema 60. When connecting Bi-Ampable speakers, use the Front L and R terminals along with the Surround Back L and R terminals for the Front L and R speakers. Proper setting configuration is necessary and can be found under 'Amp Assign' in the settings menu.

• A:Answer Hello. If you choose to exit the Setup Assistant during the unit's first out-of-box power up (BACK button on the remote) you should be able to enter Bluetooth pairing mode if you have installed the supplied Bluetooth/WiFi Antennas on the unit. When you press and hold the Bluetooth button on the CINEMA 60 remote there should be a "Pairing" message displayed on the CINEMA 60 front panel. Then when you enter Bluetooth pairing mode on your mobile device, the CINEMA 60 should appear and allow you to pair to it. The app should not be a requirement if you are only looking to use Bluetooth, and use the music apps (such as Spotify) on your mobile device and Bluetooth stream it to the CINEMA 60.

Q: QuestionIs multi-zone playback automatically slaved to the selected input? I have a pioneer reciever and each time I change the source input I have to reselect multizone to have it play the new source. This is a major pain for automation.

• A:Answer Hello. One of the main benefits of Zone 2 is the fact it is independent of the Main Zone, allowing for a different choice of source in a different zone. This does, of course, mean that any time you change the source in the Main Zone, you will need to make the same change in Zone 2 if you wish for them to both play the same source. The way around this is to assign the speaker port you are using so it receives the Main Zone feed. If you are using the Pre-out with external amplification, all you have to do is use the Main Zone pre-outs for that room feed.

• A:Answer Hello. Yes - any 2 channel/stereo content from any source can be heard in 5.1 or 7.1 playback. At the bottom of the Cinema 60 remote control there is a 'Music' button which allows the user to cycle through the sound mode options.
