QuestionWhen I wash towels the cycle never finishes. It stops at wash so it doesn't do fabric softener or rinse and spin. Haven't even had washer a month yet.

- Answer Agree, I'm having the same problem just got mine about 2 to 3 weeks ago and does not let you add extra water or softener and locks. Will see if possibly change for another can't complain about the dryer same brand works well.

- Answer Yes this machine does have an automatic water sensor and I do find that the tub fills with enough water to thoroughly clean your laundry. I know of one machine that does not have an automatic water sensor and the is a 3.6 cu ft Hotpoint top loader. The reviews that I have read on the Hotpoint washer is that the machine will not put in any hot water into the tub even when you set the water selector temperature to hot and a lot of reviewers also said they had to use super to put enough water in the tub to wash their laundry.

- Answer add a second hot and cold water outlet put two hoses on them long enough to reach in to the washer. add as much as you like. very simple to do and cost is 20- 30 dollars

QuestionMaytag washer 2 months old. Error code LF appeared on rapid wash cycle? It turned itself off. I selected normal cycle and it is working no error messages. But, the estimated time cycle jumped from 1:53 to 1:06 in 7 minutes?

Questionwhy does it vibrate so much and so loud and what are the loud clinking sounds?

- Answer the vibration may be caused by the size of the load of the laundry and the washer automatically keeps the tub in balance. The loud clinking sounds are probably coming from the brakes being applied to slow down the spinning of the tub. However these sounds the washer makes does not bother me. My washer is in a laundry room outside instead of in the home.

QuestionHow exactly does the “soak” cycle work? Put clothes in, set on auto sense, set to soak. Washer filled, waited almost an hour. Washer never intermittently agitated or drained like the manual said.

- Answer Lost, the washer will use intermittent agitation and soaking. After time has expired, water will drain, but the washer will not spin. Cycle is complete. Per page 7 of the User Guide. QuestionI do not wish to use the sensor. Does this washer actually FILL up when it's on the "deep water wash" setting, like washing machines of the past?

- Answer Hello Stacrob, unfortunately you cannot use the washer without the sensor. The bulky or deep water wash cycle will allow more water to enter the tub, but will not spin on the highest spin setting. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us again!

- Answer The cycles do seem long, but not too long in my experience because they do such a good job. Best way to get the times is to be on hand to check it, or perhaps put a camera on it to monitor the dial movement. Not very exciting but you only have to check each setting once.

- Answer Does no good to choose Deep Fill. Deep fill fills with such little water that machine runs like a fan chopping up your clothes. Deep fill means such little water is in machine that clothes and blankets will come out with dry spots. Not too clean. Do not purchase a Maytag washer with auto sensing and deep fill. Neither will get your clothes completely wet and will put rips and tears in your towels, sheets, and clothes. I'm so disappointed.
