- A:Answer It's an adapter that connects usb and or auxiliary off the back of an aftermarket stereo so you can plug devices into your aftermarket stereo without having ugly wires hanging out of your dash or on the glovebox.

- A:Answer This would plug into the in dash cables on an aftermarket radio, and make the cables (USB and 3.5mm) easily accessible on your dash (you drill a hole somewhere convenient in your dash and mount this)
