A:AnswerHi there! Our Moochies watches cannot SMS text message, however they can send emojis, as well as photo messages/voice messages, and these require data. The reason why we have not applied texting from the watch to the phone is because some customers and their little ones found the watch screen way too small to type on it, hence why you can only send photos and voice messages where your little ones have more freedom to physically say more vocally via voice recording themselves. Hope this helps! Many thanks! - Moochies Team
A:AnswerSadly we experienced the same problem. The tech support isn’t live, and e-mail only. We discovered it’s a hardware/software glitch. We’re returning the garbage product and hope BestBuy pulls the product from their shelves. Sorry for your purchase. Our daughter is sad we need to return her Christmas gift.
A:AnswerAccording to the instructions you do not but it works on wifi. Then you have to set up a "plan" through their site first. I have still yet to get it to work. It will need to be wiped and returned because it's more if a hassle. I'm better off getting watch through Verizon to keep track of my daughter's where abouts.
A:AnswerHi there, our Moochies watches have a GPS tracker, a camera. There are no games on the Moochies as of yet however we have passed this feedback onto the software development team to see if they can implement games on the Moochies in the future. Many thanks! - Moochies Team
A:AnswerHi Nick,
Thank you so much for contacting us.
Please kindly know that Moochies comes with an inbuilt SIM card from AT&T, which cannot be removed; otherwise, it will void your warranty.
Therefore, once you receive your Moochies, you only need to register to one of the available SIM plans in our website.
The reason there is now a compulsory inbuilt sim card is that this subsidises the actual cost of the watch. The new watch has a number of new software and hardware features and an improved design, making it the most advanced children's smartwatch globally. To sell this without a subsidy would mean the cost to customers upfront would be prohibitively expensive.
Another reason we opted for an inbuilt SIM is that we had a number of customers who were choosing SIM packages that were not appropriate for the device, and this was causing inconvenience for them as they had to resubscribe to different packages or choose alternate networks.
The inbuilt SIM has been tried and tested and works without any difficulties. We set the plan at a rate that uses more than the average a user uses for data and calls, as the watch is not data-heavy, nor have we found children having long conversations - they seem to use it for short bursts of calls, so the inclusive minutes does on the whole cover what most kids would use.
For more information about the SIM plans, please kindly go to https://moochies.com/USSims.
I hope this helps.
Thanks,
Moochies Team.
A:AnswerHi Meg! We have 3 different SIM plans:

A:AnswerHi Emily!
We're happy to know that you're interested in our product.
Our Moochies watches have an inbuilt SIM card from AT&T already installed into it, but as long as the Moochies watch has enough credits and the phone number saved as a Contact, they can call anyone regardless of the network provider.
Hope this helps!
Moochies Team.
A:AnswerI'm having same issue. I have been messing with this watch for 2 weeks now. I have paid to activate and am so frustrated with customer service email only and no tech support to help activate. I think I over estimated this product. Returning it and heading to t mobile for kids watch. Also, disputing my activation plan payment because I don't think they should be able to keep that.
A:AnswerHi there,
Thank you for your suggestion.
However, please be advised that the reason there is a locked inbuilt sim card is that this subsidises the actual cost of the watch. A:AnswerNo, you would have to purchase the service through the watch. Super simple process. The watch jusgs didnt work out for us because we charged it more than it was on my son's wrist.
A:AnswerIt comes with a band but you can’t buy extra. They claim you can from their website but it doesn’t offer extra bands or chargers. Also note….they don’t offer live over the phone tech support. It’s only done online. Our watch still doesn’t work. I’d recommend to NOT purchase their garbage product.
