- Answer Nothing. The modem/router will show up in the Available Network list on your laptop/tablet, etc. Just choose it and enter the password found on the bottom of the modem. If not in the list, go to Control Panel, Network and Internet and choose to 'Add a Wireless Device to the Network'. The MAC ID of the modem is also on the bottom.

- Answer It is not just the modem and router combined that is the problem. It is also how many megabits your service provider gives you .this can make it go slow also. There are some wifi routers that just cannot handle the speeds or just cannot handle too many devices connected to it. This is another reason why it goes slow.

- Answer I constantly watch movies and surf while the rest of the family also does their thing. No issues at all except when Comcast decides to mess with the service and that sometimes resets my router. Very good purchase.

- Answer It will work fine with your twc internet but not your phone! You have to have time warner's router/modem for the phone to work and the cable is irrelevant! Now you may have 2 routers/modems, one for Internet and one for phone and if that's the case you can eliminate the rental for the internet one and use this just fine but will have to keep the one for phone! If they have the phone and Internet through same unit, you'll just have to keep it!

- Answer no you still have to use Time Warner's modem for the home phone but if you are using there modem for phone only you are not charged leasing fee. If you call them the can walk you through how to set it up

- Answer Yes it is a true dual band! If a wireless product is capable of using the 5Ghz when you search for networks you will see 2 different networks, one will have the SSID and the other the SSID with 5G after it!
