A:AnswerCOMPATIBLE WITH MAJOR CABLE INTERNET PROVIDERS: Including Xfinity, Spectrum, Cox, and more. Not compatible with Verizon, AT&T, CenturyLink, DSL providers, DirecTV, DISH and any bundled voice service.
A:AnswerAs far as optimum goes, you cannot have gig speed and on your own equipment. Anything less than gig speed you can buy your own equipment. However, if you have the Altice one cable boxes you have to use the Altice one modem and router. The modem and router for Altice one give direction to the minis and without it well they just won’t work.
A:AnswerThis is a suggestion when purchasing a Netgear or any electronics. Check the warranty and support of the product! Had I not purchased BestBuys warranty I would be stuck paying for support after the Netgear 90 day free support ended. While it still had a 1year you only get 90 days of free technical support.
AX supports newer devices with faster connections and on a new frequency. For instance if you have an IPhone 11 or 12 you will benefit for the AX standard.
A:AnswerI, too, bought the Nighthawk. It will eventually setup with the Nighthawk but the connection from the mesh network is so terrible I honestly think it probably doesn't matter how good the original modem is.
A:AnswerThis is an excellent modem, router combo. I suggest you check with your Service provider to ensure it is compatible. Depending on your wifi speed, you may be able to use a cheaper modem/router combo. I have the highest speed internet service from Xfinity because I stream only (no landline phone or tv cable service) and it works great.
A:AnswerA:Answer yes it should as long as it is a docsis 3.1 otherwise it wont work if it is lower than this.
This is an answer I received to my question noted above. What is being referred to in this answer ("as long as IT is a docsis 3.1")? What is IT? The modem or the service. I'm confused.?
A:AnswerThis will absolutely connect to the MK63 as I have tried that combo. The MAJOR downside to this is you must place the MK63 in AP mode or completely disable the router function all together on the Modem. Which defeats the purpose of spending much for those features. It would serve best to buy a top of the line discus 3.1 modem with not networking features and use the MK63 solely for Router/Wi-Fi
A:AnswerThe CAX80 is rated for large homes. The Xfinity pods state that they are compatible with the Xfi gateway so we are unable to confirm if they will work with your modem.
