A:AnswerHi Bob - My review was based on the install of a Skybell also. Honestly 90ft is really not far. With a N900 you should be solid up to about 350-450ft. That's also taking into consideration obstructions and signal interference. Your situation sounds like more of an interference problem. Purchasing this extender won't necessarily solve your problem and could make it worse if you use the default channel settings. It will however, do it's job and extend or boost the signal to the Skybell, but underlying problem will still exist in your home that will continue to impact the WiFi performance of any device connected to your WiFi. I recommend that you do a network site survey. There are a number of apps you can download on your phone to check the networks broadcasting in the area. It's possible there is another one (or several) broadcasting on the same channel as your router. Change the channel on your router and test it out. Hope that helps. Good luck.
A:AnswerI believe to reset it you have to use the option 8 in the set up booklet. This takes you to a page. If I remember correctly this page has an option to reset it, or at least change the existing setting. I hope this helps.
A:AnswerYes. "The fast Ethernet port allows you to integrate your Blu-ray player, game console, Smart TV or other streaming player into your Wi-Fi network."
A:AnswerI tried to see if my wi-fi signal would reach my in-laws about 60 or so yards away and it works. Set up device in the same room as the router ( WPS Setup) then plug device into the other house in the room closest to the original house. It worked fine for me and I am able to use it when I am visiting them.
A:AnswerThat depends. Your router will still be working so you want to put the device(s) in areas where you get little or no signal. If one device accomplishes this you should be fine. I needed two as I have a 3000 square foot home and wanted coverage throughout.
A:AnswerIt should work as long as your signal is strong as per the instructions. With an assortment of cable lengths, it should work fine, just keep the cable length as short as practical.
