Q: QuestionHow long should I be able to talk on my new KX-TGD864 phone before it shows the battery level down one of the 3 levels?

• A:Answer Hours? I can talk for at least 2 hours almost straight and the level doesnt really change. If left off the charger the level will probably take a day or so before it changes. We have had very good luck with our Panasonic phones in the past and that is why we bought this brand again.

• A:Answer Hi! If the messages are on your answering machine, you can delete them one by one (in case there are some you wish to keep) or all of them at once. To delete them one by one, press the PLAY button on the base and then the ERASE button. If you want to erase all, press MENU # 325 on the handset > confirm with YES. -M

• A:Answer Hello! Using a touch-tone phone, you can call your phone number from outside and access the unit to listen to messages or change answering system settings. The unit’s voice guidance prompts you to press certain dial keys to perform different operations. It is possible to repeat the message during playback, skip the message during playback, play all messages, play new messages, turn answering machine off, erase currently playing message, erase all messages and end remote operation. Q: QuestionWe have multiple cell phones in our house. Can you set it up where ONLY 1 cell phone goes through this phone system? or will it pick up all the other cell phones in the house?

• A:Answer In order for the Link2Cell function to work, you need to pair your cellphone with the Panasonic telephone system via Bluetooth. It will not pick up a signal from all the phones, just the ones that are linked. -M

Q: QuestionHave a Panasonic KX-TGD560 and the volume will not go high enough. Does the KX-TGD863A go louder than the 560 model? I have a hearing problem so need high volume to hear it ring etc.

With the automated call block feature, the unit screens incoming calls before ringing for allowed calls or ends the calls without ringing for calls identified as robocalls, telemarketing calls, or other undesirable calls (Caller ID subscribers only). The unit will play the greeting message for the automated call block and prompt the caller to enter an access code in order for the unit to identify whether the call is automated. -C
