Q: QuestionDoes this phone automatically reset the time for daylight savings time, or is it done manually?

• A:Answer The telephone has two settings for time adjustment: manual and Caller ID auto. If you have it set to Caller ID auto, the time will change according to your Caller ID service from your phone company. If you have it set to Manual, you will need to enter the settings and change the time. If you wish to check, please press MENU # 2 2 6 on one of the handsets.

Q: QuestionDoes the answering system allow call screening/monitoring as the call is being recorded, or can it be heard only after the message is finished and call ended?

Q: QuestionI do not understand about the power adapter. I am looking for a phone system with 4 phones. This system has 1 power adapter, does this mean that only one phone is being recharged other than the one on the base unit?

• A:Answer Doesn't have a lighted dial pad I mean they light up behind or around numbers pads, you can block up to a 1000 numbers and the display shows date time without having to press a button unless of course you want it lit up !

• A:Answer We have an answering machine with our cable provider and all you have to do is go to the base unit and press the answering machine button on it and a voice will say answering machine off. Then your original answering machine will take over.

• A:Answer Hello. You can select a different ringtone for groups, the steps will be the following: 1. On a handset, press the left arrow key (Phonebook will be displayed) then press the MENU button. 2. With the Up or Down arrow keys choose "Group" and press SELECT. 3. With the Up or Down arrow keys choose the desired group and press SELECT; 4. To set group ringer tone: With the Up or Down arrow keys: Select the current setting of the group ringer tone and press SELECT; then with the Up or Down arrow keys choose the desired ringer tone and press SELECT, then press SAVE; 5. To exit the setting press the OFF button on the handset. -G

• A:Answer Yes, this is called remote operation. Using a touch-tone phone, you can call your phone number from outside and access the unit to listen to messages or change answering system settings. The unit’s voice guidance prompts you to press certain dial keys to perform different operations. A 3-digit remote access code must be entered when operating the answering system remotely. This code prevents unauthorized parties from listening to your messages remotely.
