- Answer Hello! If you are using the Voicemail from the service provider, “Voicemail msg. via phone co.” is displayed. Also, the message indicator on the handset flashes slowly if the message indicator feature is turned on. If you are using the built-in answering machine, the message indicator on the base unit flashes when new messages have been recorded. Hope this helps! -C

The phone system is designed to work mainly with a landline connection, or it can be used with the cellular line when connecting your cellphone to the base unit (using the Link to Cell feature). As the phone system was not tested for compatibility with Ooma, we encourage you to check directly with them for more details on compatibility. -G

- Answer Hi Jack! Yes, the phone system has the feature that will play a message as it is recorded for the built-in answering system. The feature will have to be turned on for each handset with MENU #310. -G

QuestionMy husband has Alzheimer's and gets upset with the ringing of the phone. So I have turned off the ringer. Do all the phones light up when a call comes in when ringer is off so I can see when I receive a call?

- Answer I have a set of these phones that I have been using for about 8 years and I did replace the batteries about 2 years ago.I was able to get the batteries on line for about $4.00 each. Hope this helps.

QuestionIf you block a number by accident, can your UN-block it later? Does the phone keep a list of blocked numbers that you can scan through? Also, can you make it so the "block button" on the main handset is disengaged - so that no one accidentally pushes it?
