• It should be. Mine connects to my Samsung Galaxy Note4 without any issue at all. I had Best Buy do the installation so I don't have the answer for the install question.

• Yes it is, my son has a Samsung S3 and I have the S5, we both were able to connect to it using the Bluetooth
