I use mine in my 2000 Jeep Wrangler with the windows down. I believe that you will find that it would be a good fit!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know of any noise canceling head units, but that generally requires two microphones. The mic packaged with this Pioneer unit should work fine, but it does pick up noise in your surroundings. When I make a call using mine, I just speak directly into it, roll my windows up, and lower the volume of my stereo so the speakers don't cause the person on the other end to hear themselves talking with a delay. You might have to speak up, but whoever you're talking to will probably figure out you're on the road anyway. Best of luck setting up your freightliner truck!
