QuestionI have a very good question. Why is this marketed as 9.2 when it should be 7.2? There are 9 speaker outputs that include the 2 height speakers. If they are including the LFE and Zone 2 as the DOT 2, that is marketing made to confuse people. Overpriced 7.2

QuestionI don't see Dirac on the overview on the Best Buy sheet but do see it on the Pioneer website. Does the unit have Dirac? That's the only reason to buy it for most of us.

- Answer Yes it has Dirac Live, go to this web site: https://www.pioneerhomeusa.com/product/vsx-lx305-av-receiver/ where you can download the actual manual for the receiver. I bought the receiver from Pioneer a few weeks ago and it is working great, I haven't tried the Dirac Live yet, the Advanced MCACC with it's 9 mic positions sounds great.

- Answer go to this web site: https://www.pioneerhomeusa.com/product/vsx-lx305-av-receiver/ where you can download the actual manual for the receiver, this will tell which streaming services are built in. TuneIN, Pandora, Spotify Deezer, Tidal, AirPlay, Chromecast, Play-Fi, music, Push Player from iPhone music. The Pioneer Remote App works great for accessing these and also for control of all 3 zones.

- Answer On other receivers, you have to manually change inputs to go to the Sonos input. On this receiver, the input automatically switches to the Sonos input. I believe that the Sonos app will also control the receiver volume.
