QuestionThe wall mounted thermostat only has two wires connecting to the old nest thermostat, Your illustration shows 4 wires connecting to the new thermostat I thought the PEK used only two wires at the unit the reason for the extender?

- Answer Thanks for reaching out! It sounds like you may have a heat-only system, if you only have two wires. If this is the case, the PEK is not compatible, our PEK requires a "Y" wire, which connects to a compressor. We'd love to support you further with this! Can you reach out so we can determine the best solution for creating a "C" connection, which will be required to use an ecobee.
