So far I’ve been using distilled water, so haven’t found the need to clean it. Definitely have not seen any sign of mildew/mold yet which is why I have been choosing to use distilled water. Once every two weeks I like to empty it, dry it off with a paper towel and lay it apart to let it air dry, just as a precautionary measure for cleanliness. But very easy to use and highly recommend

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This humidifier easily collects a lot of dirty stuffs and is very difficult to clean (compared to my older humidifier). Yes, it can take decent amount of water and is quiet, but the cleanness is very important to us. So I regret buying this humidifier. I have submitted a positive review and couldn't revise it after I found out the problem.
