- Answer Is that the tone you have set? Try changing the ring tone for the doorbell, that might help. Hope this helps

QuestionI have a wired system, ring pro 2 and a single regular door bell . My chimes are regular wired chimes not the ring chimes. I have a problem of the chimes getting very hot . I think it my be the transformer size, I'm currently using a 16 volt 30VA trans.

- Answer Hello Scarymary, No, the Ring Chime does not allow two-way audio. It is solely used to broadcast motion and door ding alerts for doorbell and camera devices. QuestionI just installed my ring chime pro and tried to change the audio settings but there are very few options and no holiday options. Everything I’ve read online indicates there should be holiday options. Is there something wrong with my chime?

- Answer If you only have a few options, your Chime Pro might need to have its software updated. All three of my Chime Pros have at least 16 different ringtone options. Go into the Chime Pro settings and look in DEVICE HELP to see if your firmware is up to date. If it is, it will say "UP To Date." Sorry, I can't recall if there are holiday chimes during the season.
