  • QuestionHow do you wire this Ring Doorbell

    Asked by Bob.

    • Answer If you have current chimes you can just hook to those or it comes with its own that you can connect to it. Installation was relatively easy, the hardest part was finding the current transformer and finding which fuse to turn off to get it done.

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Hello. Thank you for reaching out to us with your questions. The main differences are Ring Chime Pro extends wifi coverage for Ring devices, has dual-band 2.4Ghz & 5GHz wifi connectivity (vs 2.4GHz only), a built-in nightlight, and guided feedback during the setup process to help you find the best location for your Ring Chime Pro. Both Ring Chime Pro and Ring Chime are compatible with all existing Ring Video Doorbells and Security Cameras, plug into standard wall outlets, and let you hear real-time notifications anywhere in your home. The Ring Wired Doorbell Pro (3rd Gen) captures video in 4K resolution (2880 x 2880) with a unique 1:1 aspect ratio that provides true head-to-toe coverage. This means you'll see four times more detail than standard 1080p HD, making it easier to identify visitors and monitor packages.
