- Answer I am not sure, because my old chime box wouldn't work with my new Ring-Video doorbell Pro 2. I think it would n't work because my chime box was about 30 years old.

- Answer Did you install the Pro Power Kit before you installed your Ring Doorbell? If so, make sure you installed it correctly. Also, check to make sure it didn't come off and interfere with the chimes.

- Answer Ring pro 2 does not use batteries. I guess you could use the wired plug with a battery back up if you really wanted to or a back up generator for your homes as well
