QuestionI bought this for a Christmas present for my husband. He has an RCA tv, the tv doesn't have an optical output or input on the TV itself. We have bought 2 different types of converters and neither will work. What do I need to buy to make this work?

QuestionBought this brand new, got it home and connected. Once I start playing a show or music there is a constant humming/droning noise coming from the subwoofer that completely makes viewing not enjoyable. Since unplugged the subwoofer only using soundbar.

- Answer Take it back to the store or contact samsung. Your subwoofer should not be making that noise

QuestionThis has a subwoofer, front speaker bar and two rear speakers but it says its 2.1 channel. So the rear speakers are not on their own channels for 4.1? For most systems the rear speakers have their own rear channel so you have the spacial effect. Thanks

- Answer Hi upsnowman! The HW-T450 does not include the rear speakers, just the soundbar and the subwoofer providing a 2.1ch solution. The SWA-8500s is a rear speaker kit sold separate that pairs with the soundbar to provide full surround sound. - Answer Hi Dodger! The HW-T450 will include everything you need to connect the soundbar to the TV, as well as power cables for both the soundbar and the subwoofer. If using a Samsung TV, the soundbar will power on by the TV remote. ^Tim

Question2020 T Series Soundbar w/ Wireless Subwoofer (HW-T47M) is connected to a Samsung Smart TV using bluetooth and optical. Speakers work fine with TV but audio-video sync is off. Troubleshooting recommendations on Samsung web site tried to no avail.

- Answer I initially had the same problem with my Samsung Q70 4K Smart TV. Using my TV remote, I went into the on-screen TV settings and selected Sound Output - Samsung Optical. That essentially turned off the TV speakers and routed everything to the soundbar, and solved the synchronization of the sound with the video.

- Answer If your series 7 has Bluetooth, then the wireless box will connect, and the speaker bar can be connected to the tv hardwire, and both will work in tandem. I have a higher end Samsung sound system connected wirelessly and hardwire to my Series 8 Curve model 8500, so I assume you will not have any problem connecting.
