Q: QuestionI have a Samsung dishwasher that’s about 3 years old. My problems is when it is after the cycle is complete. The next time I go to use it, I have no power. I either have to turn breaker off then back on, r unplug unit and plug it back in to make it work.

• A:Answer The height of the DMT400RHW is adjustable from 33-7/8" to 35-7/8". The cutout needs to be slightly larger to accommodate the mounting bracket if attaching it to the counter, as well as for ease of movement in and out of the space. The minimum recommended cutout height is 34-1/8". - Ms. Samsung

Q: QuestionMy dishwasher is not draining can u advise how to troubleshoot this problem? How do you clean the drainage?

• A:Answer Since it has a built in disposer, my first thought is that the drain line is clogged. It is a small diameter plastic tube. If you can get to it. it should be easy to disconnect and look at. If it's clogged, you can probably use the same sort of tool you use to manually unclog drains. If not, then the drain pump is shot and you will need to get it repaired. I do not recommend putting drain cleaner in your dishwasher, as that could to permanent damage.

Q: QuestionWhat is the best way to get the dishes dry?I have purchased this unit and it is installed. We have tried using the sanitize button and the dishes are still wet. Should the door be left opened for them to dry?

Q: QuestionUsing All-in-pacs from Cascade, not disolving in wash... why??I have been using this dishwasher for a month now and every other wash i find the All-in-one Cascade pack in the lower left hand corner not dissolved, meaning the dishes were not washed. Is it due to the dispenser opening too soon or am i limited to the kind of detergent I can use?

• A:Answer This is happening with our new, not even a month-old Samsung dishwasher. we have more than the min required PSI (110) our hot water is more than 120°and is immediate to the kitchen. So it is neither of those that are the issue but my wife and I are at our witts end on this after every time the washer has run, the dishes don't seem clean and when checking the detergent dispenser the pack is still in the holder. but flipped around and the dispenser is open. We have tried a number of different programs to see if this will help to no avail it is getting old and we have never had these problems with any other dishwasher that we have purchased in the past. We went with a more expensive dishwasher thinking that we are upgrading but it doesn't seem to be the case. I will be calling Best Buy and Samsung but was hoping that I could resolve this with a little help via chat.

I don't have that particular measurement available, but the door should swing out by a distance only slightly less than the height of the dishwasher, or about 30", making the total depth of the dishwasher with the door open 90 degrees approximately 54-55". - Ms. Samsung

Q: QuestionSamsung DMT800RHS QuestionI am considering this dishwasher but its dpeth is listed as 25 1/4 inches. I measured the counter top and it is 24 inches. So the dishwasher will stick out by 1 1/4 inches. In that case, there is no use of integrated controls as the controls will be visible even if the door is closed. Most of the households may have 24 inch deep counter top, so is this a common issue with this dishwasher? Thank you

• A:Answer Yes, to your question about standard counter depth. But, it looks very sleek installed in this same scenario in our kitchen. Honestly, I think it looks just fine sticking out 1.25 inches. Really, i don't think even the most critical of eyes would disagree. I attached photo of the actual installation. Please forgive the counter top color, we are looking at something much darker now to contrast with the stainless appliance color.

• A:Answer I think you can use either one. The guide strongly advocates the use of Quantum tabs. I have been using them and have been very pleased with the results.

Have gone through the product troubleshooting and Q&A info and no problems found with water pressure, temp, nozzle, etc. We purchased all new Samsung appliances and happy with all except dishwasher. I know this is still under warranty, but what is the simplest way to get this frustrating problem resolved without further frustration or expense? Thank you.

If you've tried all of the suggested troubleshooting, and your water pressure and temperature are set appropriately, the spray nozzles aren't clogged, and you're using the recommended amount and type of detergent, then your dishwasher may require service. • A:Answer The drain hose that comes factory installed on your DMT400RHS is approximately 5' long, and can be extended by purchasing another section of hose, then attaching it to the original hose by clamping them together with a steel sleeve. I would suggest contacting your local Best Buy appliance or installation team for assistance locating these materials. Please keep in mind that for the drain to operate properly, Samsung recommends installing the dishwasher within 9.8 ft of the sink. Thank you! Ms. Samsung
