- Answer There doesn't appear to be an M.2 slot on the A541U, so no. It looks like your better option to stay within the Samsung family would be to go with the Samsung 860 series SSD.

- Answer I looked up the motherboard for the system you have and it appears to have an M2 expansion slot so it might be used by your internal ssd unless the one that was provided to you is a sata ssd. Best way is to open the case and look for the m2 slot. If you google your model plus motherboard hp has specs on it on their site.

- Answer Yes the HP OMEN has a M2 slot available. If you do not already have an M2 drive in the slot this one would work wonders for any gaming machine.

- Answer It looks like the laptop does have an M2 slot but It might be used from vendor so I would check by opening the laptop and verifying the M2 slot is not occupied. - Answer If you search google for Lenovo Y520 expansions the M2 slot is available on this laptop. I believe that GeekSquad does provide an installation for this drive but it is very straight forward to do on your own as long as you have a small screwdriver. - Answer I'm not sure if this helps, but this is the information I found trying to find out if the 970 EVO PLUS 500GB SSD will work in your laptop. https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Upgrade-SSD-on-HP-Pavilion-x360-Convertible-14m-dh0xxx/td-p/7150008, I would also verify in Device Manager, under Storage Controllers if "Standard NVM Express Controller is listed" if so, then It will work in your laptop! You will also need to download and in the Samsung NNME driver and Samsung Magician software from their website: https://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/download/tools/ Hope this helps you.
