A:AnswerJust order the phone with the eligible number. When the phone arrives, call Verizon and have them activate it under the number you want to use. I've done it a few times without any problems. The number you choose to use for the phone won't change when that number is eligible for a new phone. You can also switch phones between numbers on your account whenever you'd like.
A:AnswerI did this when I got my phone Galaxy s5. My mother wanted a smart phone & needed a new phone anyway. My contract wasn't up until another yr so I found out I could add another line & still get the phone. Once the phone came, I had already synced my phone contents to the Verizon cloud so I downloaded them to the new S5. I logged into my Verizon account & clicked Switch Device to switch my phone number from my old phone to the new phone & then my old phone has the new phone number & the s5 has my old number. During the process I had to swap sim cards between the phones. I reset my old phone & gave it to my mom. Doing this increased my bill by about 40 something dollars each month because both devices are on a shared plan..unlimited talk/text 6 GB data, I got the 6 gigs of data through a promotional call since it was free. I think I originally had 3 gigs of data. So if you're willing to shell out an extra 40 something bucks each month & a higher bill the first month after you buy the phone due to the prorating & surcharges, then go for it. It would be even better if you have someone you trust that you could let use the 2nd line with your old phone & maybe they could even pay you each month for use. If you have someone use your old phone, make sure you erase & reset it. Then go through the setup & make sure that person uses their own Google account or create one & input their payment info so you don't get stuck with paying for their apps. Well good luck!
A:AnswerUnfortunately, this may not be possible -- a valid credit card typically must be provided during the sign-up process to be eligible for any promotional upgrade pricing. Verizon's customer support team or an in-store Best Buy Mobile specialist may be able to provide an alternative solution though, so you may wish to contact Verizon directly or visit your local store for additional information if you haven't already done so.
A:AnswerBest Buy sales usually run from Sunday to Saturday. We also price match any price differences within 15 days of your original purchase. I would recommend purchasing it because if it does go on sale any further, you would be eligible to get a refund of the difference.
A:AnswerYou can zoom the camera by pinching the touchscreen and swiping toward the outer edges of the screen. There is a limited amount of zoom capability.
A:AnswerThey are both great phones. If you just have to have the latest and greatest technology go with S6 but if you are budget conscious and want a great phone with a great price then go with the S5. You won't be missing much!
A:Answeryes, as long as the person that has the plan has room to add the extra line, and doesn't mind adding you to the line and sharing data and minutes exc.....
A:AnswerYes, get the 64 gig. I have the 32 and my phone had slowed a bit because of all the space i am using. The more storage space you have open, the faster the phone will be.
A:AnswerDepends on your Carrier, Verizon you have 14 days to exchange from purchase date, but it has to be done at an official store, not a retailer like Best Buy.
