QuestionI think my vacuum is broken. It won't change from purple to white on the dirt detection lights. Also it won't suck harder when close to baseboards like it was doing when I first used it.

Questioncan i use it without the "odor neutralizing" pod? It is highly scented and makes me sick, I had to put it outside but the smell still lingers in my house. I thought it would be an "odor neutralizing" filter, not highly scented.

- Answer Yes. The dial must stay installed, but you can remove the cartridge if the scent is too strong. This won’t affect vacuum performance.

QuestionWhat is the weight, how to do clean the filter?

- Answer The weight is 18.48 lbs for the unit and the Auto-Empty Dock. To clean filters, rinse them with water only. Allow all filters to air-dry completely for up to 48 hours before reinstalling to prevent liquid from being drawn into electric parts. Clean the pre-motor filters at least once a month and post-motor filter at least once a year. Tap off loose dirt between washes when needed. More frequent cleaning may sometimes be necessary with heavy use.

QuestionSo where does the dirt go? To a tidy bag inside the unit, which gets thrown away? Or is it just into a larger bin from which a larger amount winds up having to get dumped into the trash, potentially creating a larger plume or larger spill?

- Answer Isn't the whole point of this one that then the contents of the dustbin in the vacuum gets automatically sucked into the base unit? Into what, is what my question is? A bag that keeps it contained when you throw it out, or just a larger plastic bin that makes dust plumes and spillage potentially larger and messier when you have to dump that bigger, dirtier thing out?
