A:AnswerIf the pad does not stay attached properly, check the clips on the sides of the base, and remove any dirt or grime. If continues, please call Shark Customer Care at 1-800-798-7398 Mon – Fri 9am – 9pm ET | Sat. 9am – 6pm ET.
A:AnswerThe disposable pad might need to be replaced. If you are cleaning multiple times with the same pad, you may be reintroducing dirt onto the floors. Replace your pad, and consider starting each mopping session with a fresh pad to alleviate the issue.
A:AnswerThe machine runs without a pad but as dirt and debris get in it will get jammed sitting at the entrance of the nozzle somehow while still vacuuming. Then a red light will show which means that it is blocked and clogged up or you have to charge it. You will have to disassemble it and clean it up which is really hard to manage cause there's nothing on the internet telling you how to open the main compartment. I still have not figured it out yet but with gentle care and basic mechanic skills you can fix it but do note red flash also means not enough charge to function as advertised.
Those telling you lies such as the pad not being on stops it from working are probably shills for the companies products and want you to spend more money to them by buying a new one or send in for repairs.
A:AnswerI would contact Shark customer service directly. There's a 1 year manufactures warranty on it and Shark has never let me down. Also if you bought the extended warranty through Best Buy than your covered. It could have a defect.
A:AnswerWe are sorry to hear that this has happened, to better assist you with this we invite you to reach out to our Customer Care Team at 1-877-581-7375 Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 9:00 pm EST, as well as Saturday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm EST.
A:AnswerThe cleaner isn't concentrated and shouldn't be sticky you might be spraying too much a little covers a good size area and once the pad gets wet enough it should cover a larger area. But if you need to have your floor really wet, I suppose diluting it would be your best option to prevent stickiness.
A:AnswerDo you remove the pad from it before you store/charge it? I'm not entirely sure if this is the problem, but I remove the pad before storing/charging and I haven't had this problem.
Also, make sure everything is tightly in place. If the cap is isn't clicked down all the way, I think it's possible that air coming into the tank through the cap could allow fluid to leak out.
A:AnswerWe would like to let you know that the Vacmop can safely be used on all sealed hard floors, stone, hardwood, vinyl, laminate, tile, marble, and linoleum.
A:AnswerWe would like to let you know that the dirt chamber is located in the pad, there is no dust cup on the Vacmop. The Vacmop should not be used without a pad.
A:AnswerNo there is not one sold directly. The company sells you the mop in hopes that you keep buying their excessively expensive waste of plastic and cloth refills. You can make your own reusable pads for a few bucks and eliminate a lot of the expenses. Here’s a video how:
