QuestionUnder external inputs/HDMI signal format it says "enhanced" to display HDR but only inputs 2 & 3? Does this refer to devices such as DVD players etc. or do I need to change my current dish hopper hdmi from input 1 to get 4k/HDR for normal tv viewing?

- Answer Hi Rob, It will depend on the specifications of the connected device. HDMI 2 and 3 ports are designed to handle High-Quality HDMI formats (4K 60p 4:2:0 10bit, 4:4:4:, 4:2:2 etc.). Lower HDMI formats will work on all HDMI ports. QuestionI just recently purchased the Sony 55” 55X800E at Best Buy. This replaced an Insignia 32” TV. The picture quality of the Sony is poor compared to the Insignia. Fuzzy colors and the images are not crystal clear. Not like the TV in store. Any ideas?

- Answer You are looking at the insignia. Turn on the Sony and you will see the difference.

QuestionI have a 5 or 6 year old Sony Bravia which is mounted to a book shelf/entertainment center via a flat mount. Just wondering if the new Sony 800 has the same screw pattern on the back of the TV that will allow me to use the old mount as it is custom fit.

- Answer Thanks. My old unit was 50”. The mount screw pattern on the 55” is exactly the same.

QuestionI have an older sony Bravia, when trying to pair with my Bose soundbar the generic code in manual was 0000 and it did not work. Can one easily pair a Bose sound bar with this tv to override the tv speakers

- Answer Apple TV will definitely work since all you need is an HDMI. I would recommend getting the newer Apple TV with 4K added.

QuestionI'm an Australian living in the US for the near future, but will be moving back home eventually. Can the region be changed so that I can watch Aus netflix when i return down under. I'm fairly sure digital tv will not be supported, interested in Apps more.
