Q: QuestionIs there any limit on video shooting time?

• A:Answer The (legally constrained?) 30 minute limit which was on older Sonys is gone, as far as I know. As I understand, the only limits are your memory card’s capacity, the battery life, and the (improved) thermal constraints of the processor. My a5100 would overheat while recording video and shut down. I learned to turn off OSS while on a tripod and lift the screen to allow heat dissipation. I will be following this same procedure for similar situations. I haven’t used my a6100 in that situation yet, but so far it has not felt any warmer than my hand during video recording with OSS on.
