- Answer Hi Josh, the a6100 only has soft skin effect when shooting still images (**when file format is set to JPEG). It does not have soft skin effect for video.

QuestionDoes this camera shoot well in macro. I'm looking for something that I can use for both filming beauty-style videos and also shoot ultra close up for jewelry specific shoots etc.

- Answer Hi IsabelleT, the camera will work well in macro if it is paired with a good macro lenses like the SEL30M35, SEL50M28, and SEL90M28G.
