• A:Answer The Sony A6400 no longer has a recording limit, so theoretically you can record until the battery dies or SD card fills up. I've heard it does have a tendency of overheating when recording in 4k 30p @100MBPS, which isn't surprising because its a small body with so much tech. But I assume it'll be fine with 1080p at 60fps and 120fps.

• A:Answer I would not consider this a compact camera. When I think compact, I see an all in one solution with an intergral lens that can't be changed. This camera is more in the middle. Its larger than a compact, but smaller than a full frame camera. It is very light. However. You have to buys a lens as the base camera will not come with one. I would still recommend this camera over a compact as it sits right in the middle for features of Sonys lineup for middle size cameras. There are a lot of after market accessories that fit it. Lenses with E PZ has a toggle that will allow you to zoom in and out with out having turn the lens zoom ring. The lenses with just E does not have this feature.
