QuestionWhen I try to turn up the subwoofer it states "NO USE". I reset the system however a few seconds later it did it again. How can I fix this?

- Answer My installer said it was important to position subwoofer close to sound bar. Mine is about 11 feet away. Manual suggests placing sub very close (eg 2 feet) while pairing, then after making sure it works, move the paired sub to final location.

- Answer Yes with a HDMI e ARC/ARC cable between them- both TV & sound bar are ported for it.

- Answer You will have to use the separate wireless Sony speakers with this. There is no way to connect wired speakers with it.

QuestionI have had this system for a year and 8 months now and am thinking about using a digital optical cable instead of hdmi ARC. Is the sound quality comparable for them or is one better sound wise? I don't use the pass-through feature for any devices.

- Answer Hi Josh, Thank you for your inquiry with the HTZ9F. HDMI is better that Optical although they both pass digital audio from one device to another. The biggest difference is that HDMI can pass higher-resolution audio, including the formats found on Bluray: Dolby True HD and DTS Master Audio. These formats can't transmitted across optical. Also in terms of simplicity, HDMI also passes video signal. I hope this helps. Regards, Kris

QuestionZ9R had sound stop while watching movie on Netflix. This occurred numerous times throughout the movie. I have an Xbox Series X near the sound bar and nothing else. Modem and wifi are in another room. How do I fix this problem? Is the Xbox the cause?

- Answer No not necessarily, the soundbar will turn on automatically when you turn your tv on (every soundbar will do that when linked through hdmi) though you can easily switch to your tv speakers though, through your tv settings in audio if you wish not to use the soundbar

Questioni bought a samsung sound bar from you : but samsung is saying it wont work with a projector ! i was told to hook my fire stick up to hdmi input then run hdmi cable out of sound bar to projector : sound works but video is intermittent !
