QuestionDoes this receiver output to blue tooth speakers?

- Answer Unfortunately it does not run output to Bluetooth speakers. The Bluetooth is for devices such as your phone or iPad that can connect to it and stream Spotify or Apple Music etc. you could go purchase a Bluetooth transmitter that plugs into the headphone jack and use that as output to a Bluetooth speaker but that might be too much to do. Another workaround is run the headphone jack plug to the aux on the speaker using a 3.5” stereo cable.

- Answer It does NOT have AM radio. The manual says 30 presets, but I only use 3. Those 3 presets work fine.

- Answer The spec sheet is incorrect on several items. It does come with a remote, and the speaker connectors are spring clip, not RCA. The Receiver is great. I am running it through a couple of restored Advent Legacy, with JBL studio monitors passive through a Polk Audio 10" subwoofer. I have a turntable and computer audio connected as well. It is beautiful, clean sound. Lesser speakers I imagine would sound fine. I am not sure if it would drive some massive magnets like old 15" Cerwin Vega, or some such, but then again, it may. I have been very impressed with the Receiver so far. I have not used the Blue Tooth yet, so I cannot comment on that.

QuestionHello, I want to mount my reciever inside but have my speakers outside. I don't have line of sight for the IR remote. Is there a way to hook up an IR extender so I can use the remote outside?

QuestionI have a system that has 8 speakers hooked up using an amplifier. Can this be used the same way? If so, how do you hook the amp up to this system?

- Answer The speakers on a given line can't be lower than 4 ohms. There are two right lines and two left lines. You could hook two 8 ohm speakers to each line in parallel and that would be 4 ohms per line. Plus from line one to plus on speaker one and speaker one plus to speaker two plus. Negative from line one to speaker one negative and speaker one negative to speaker two negative. If your speakers are 6 or 4 ohms you will underload the amp and blow the finals If you run in series two per line 4 ohms becomes 8 ohms but they are out of phase and might sound lousy as you just made an eight speaker noise cancelling system

- Answer Hi Dish, Good question! Yes, you can listen to the speakers connected to the speaker A and B terminals. You can press SPEAKERS A/B repeatedly to select the speaker system you want to operate. QuestionIf the provided FM antenna isn’t strong enough to get a great reception, which FM antenna would you recommend? I ordered one & it was the wrong 2 pin connection, now I’m having a problem finding one with that connection. Any help would be appreciated.

- Answer It doesn't connect to WiFi, but the Bluetooth has a great range. It won't stop playing if you accidentally walk out of the room with your phone or other device. I can walk to the back of my house (50ft + through walls) without it going out of range.

QuestionI have couple of KRK monitors hooked up to the line out from the Sony STR-DH190, but for whatever reason I can’t control the volume on the speakers from the volume knob or the remote control. My input is Phono.

- Answer The line out is raw signal. No volume modulation from the amp. The line out is what you would usually run to a tape recorder or CD burner. The line out could go to a powered set of speakers but the speakers would have to have volume control on them. This powers only two sets of non amplified speakers. It is basically a 70s style stereo reciever that can also play songs from your phone via Bluetooth and has a remote.
