A:AnswerThis Sony line out is for recording like old tape recorder.
You can use Bluetooth or Portable in to connect your phone to this Sony and play music to the outdoor speaker as long as you can run the outdoor speakers cable to this Sony as speaker A or B
but you can not connect it via a second receiver for your indoor speaker via Line out.
What you can do is to run the speakers cable to outdoor speakers as speaker A and connect to this Sony.
Run another speakers cable to the indoor speakers as speaker B and connect to this Sony.
Use your smart phone to pair the Bluetooth or plug it into Portable In and play music from there. Use remote for speaker A or and B for your music. Hope it will help!
A:AnswerYes you can buy connecting two of your speakers to the A output and connect one of your speakers to the B output. Then on speaker selection select A plus B.
A:AnswerNot sure what you are asking. The Phono Pre-amp is built in. If you turn off the receiver, the pre-amp will be turned off. You don't need a separate pre-amp to connect a turntable.
A:AnswerHi Chelsea, thanks for your inquiry. By default, the impedance rating of this receiver is set to 8 OHM. When you connect all the speakers with a nominal impedance of 8 ohms or higher, set “SP IMP.” to
“8 OHM”. In other connections, set it to “6 OHM”. For details, see “6: Setting the Speakers” ( https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/4726/f63b8edb2b154409daa55875111f95e4/47269071M.pdf see page 20). Hope this helps! -Sam
A:AnswerHi there, thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, no. There is no HDMI ports available for your Xbox on this receiver. I would suggest checking our other models such as the STRDH590, STRDH790, and STRDN1080 models instead. Regards, Sam
A:AnswerHi JBaker, thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, no. It is not possible to connect an add-on equalizer/amplifier to current Sony AV receivers. Most Sony receivers feature a built-in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Equalizer. The addition of an equalizer is not needed and would provide no additional benefit to the overall sound output of the receiver. Hope this helps. -Sam
A:AnswerHi Cwmx21, thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, you cannot connect this receiver to your TV via HDMI since this receiver doesn't have an HDMI port. And no, you cannot connect a mixer/external amp/equalizer to this unit. Hope this helps! -Sam
A:AnswerHi Jojo, Thanks for your inquiry. Yes, they should. Please make sure to connect speakers with a nominal impedance of 6 ohms to 16 ohms. Hope this helps! -Sam
A:AnswerYou are limited to 2 pairs of speakers. Speaker A normally That is 2 front left and right and an additional Speaker B can be in another location left and right speakers. Or similar setup. If you want to put ceiling speakers in multiple rooms you will be limited to 2 rooms. This is a stereo 2 channel system so I believe speakers have to be setup as a left and right pair for best audio/listening experience.
A:AnswerHi Jojo, thank you for your inquiry. This stereo receiver only supports a built-in FM radio tuner. However, this unit has 4 audio RCA inputs to which you can connect additional audio devices. Hope this helps! -Sam
A:AnswerNot sure if your trying to set up two areas for listening But I can tell you the system I did was that the A speaker output on amp went to sub woofer and from sub woofer out to 2 speakers and b speaker outlet from amp went directly to the other 2 speakers left and right . I am very happy with this receiver so far, good value for the money
A:AnswerHi GRob, thanks for your inquiry. Unfortunately, no. You cannot connect wireless speakers to this receiver. You can only connect speakers via a regular speaker wire connection to the speaker port of the unit. Hope this helps. -Sam
