A:AnswerYou may need to use a ATSC Converter box like this one.
Mediasonic HW-150PVR ATSC Digital Converter Box w/ TV Recording, Media Player, and TV Tuner Function.

We still recommend using the remote control of your TV to power it on.

A:AnswerHi Customer,
No, you cannot connect a soundbar to this AV receiver. We recommend connecting wired speakers with a nominal impedance of 6 ohms to 16 ohms. This unit also doesn't support phono input. You may consider STRDH190, it has phono Inputs and Bluetooth.
Hope this helps!
David
A:AnswerNo there is only a main left and right and center right surround and left surround. I suggest if you are using this amplifier to get an impedance matching speaker selector, you can run one set indoor/outdoor or both at the same time.
A:AnswerNot sure. The set-up in the manual shows just using the top RCA jack to connect the subwoofer. Maybe it's needed to be compatible with some other subwoofers or to wire to two left and right speakers that have a separate subwoofer connection.
A:AnswerAfter auto calibration you can adjust each of the 5 channels by +/- 10 db. The subwoofer output is an RCA jack so you should be able to connect.
A:AnswerYes. There are 5 4K HDMI ports, TV ARC out (which is what I have my Samsung Smart TV connected to), Game In, SAT/CATV In, BD/DVD In, and Media Box In.
A:AnswerHi steveMD,
Unfortunately, this AV receiver doesn't have internet connectivity. Yes, you can use Roku stick with this AV receiver.

A:AnswerHi gene,
The built-in Bluetooth lets you wirelessly stream from other Bluetooth devices. Check the link for more details.

A:AnswerHi moto,
It will work as long as the speakers are within a nominal impedance of 6 ohms to 16 ohms. Lower than 6 or higher than 16 ohms will not work.
Regards,
David
A:AnswerIt does. But it is not a switch. It is more of a “mode” that you can change from 2CH/Movie/Music/Night settings. This triggers different combinations of your front/surround/center/sub speakers as needed.
A:AnswerNo it does not have an operating system to run smart TVs apps such as Netflix or YouTube. You would also need a smart device like a bluray player or Roku.
A:AnswerHi CindyBrock,
There is only 1 type of optical cable. See page 11 from this link for details.

A:AnswerYes, if you decide to hook up a second subwoofer later remember to do the easy calibration again because the unit only calibrates speakers/subwoofers that are attached at the time it's calibrated. Hope this helps.
