- Answer If you use the HDMI cable (ARC) it will. Cable HDMI to the receiver and the ARC out into your TV. Make sure your tv settings for ARC is set too.

QuestionHow do you get more sounds from the rear & saround speakers

- Answer Run the setup that came with the microphone. Afterwards you may be able to adjust each channel separately under audio menu. The rear will not be as loud regardless unless you place the unit in five channel stereo. Hope that helps.

QuestionI am unable to get ATMOS to detect using the ARC connection to the receiver. (Using TV native apps on my Samsung Q70R). When playing ATMOS content (Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc) the receiver shows Dolby Digital Plus (DD+) but not ATMOS. Help?

- Answer Answering my own question: I needed to perform a factory reset and then go through setup again. Now ATMOS works with TV internal apps via ARC.

QuestionIs the powered USB port on the back switched or always on? (I asked this previously but the Sony answer isn't correct.) I'm asking about the USB port on the rear upper left, labeled 'Power Supply' 5v 1amp. Is that port switched or always on.

- Answer Just checked. It’s always on. Quickly went through the settings to see if it was configurable and did not find an obvious option to control the USB port.

- Answer Hi LienaD thanks for your question. The HP 2CH means Headphone(2ch) sound field. This sound field plays back 2-channel audio signals without adding any surround effect. Sound from monaural and multi-channel audio signals are output after being converted into a 2-channel signal.
