Sometimes at the beginning there will be a feedback and I have to adjust the headphone on my ear and it will go away.

I was listening on my phone, plugged into my Mac with a wired headphones and they were automatically connected to the computer. When I unplugged the cord from both my headphones and the computer, I was told the headphones were powering off. So I would say yes, from what I can see.
