A:AnswerIf you purchase from best buy you can return to best buy. Money back is only 14 days from when you receive it at the store. I would also recommend you purchase the 4 year replacement plan. If returned within the 14 day period that will be refunded also. However since you own the equipment, why not have a little insurance on it.
A:AnswerI ran mine off of a 500 watt inverter with alligator clips but it also has a cigarette lighter option. Be sure to get a pure sine wave type of inverter unit.
Note that running Starlink system draws 7amps / hour so don't let this run too long on your car battery for it will run it down quick.
But it should run it for 2-3 hours without any problem on a good battery.
A:AnswerSatellite companies will always tell you down time ( loss of signal) is very minimal. Starlink is no different. We live in Northern WI with excellent coverage. Our dish is set up with perfect view to the actual Starlink satellite, and we still loose signal. Our signal loss is short but long enough for a signal loss message to pop up on our TV.
A:AnswerWe placed ours on the ground next to our house and rv when we travel and have excellent reception. No mounting required and no worries about it blowing over or storm winds ripping it off of a mount. As long as you have a clear view of the sky it will work. If you are surrounded by close trees then you'd need to mount.
