QuestionWill the TiVo mini work with an antenna? I have no cable. Do I need anything else for this to work! I just hook it up and im all set?

- Answer The mini will only work with an acceptable model of Tivo. You cannot use a mini alone.

- Answer The Mini doesn't have a hard drive, so you can't record to it. You can use it to access recordings on the DVR or to set up recordings for the DVR.

- Answer Yes, this does work with the Premiere. According to TiVo's online specifications it works with: TiVo BOLT, TiVo Roamio and Roamio Plus or Pro, TiVo Premiere 4 and XL4/Elite, TiVo Roamio OTA

QuestionOur Tivo Roamio is connected via WiFi.We're thinking of getting a Tivo mini to watch dvr'd shows in another room.Will I need to now have both machines directly connected to the Ethernet,or can I plug the mini in and still access shows from the Roamio?

- Answer I think you will need to connect both units via Ethernet or MOCA. the mini does not operate via wifi.

- Answer If it's not one of the listed compatible devices (Connects to TiVo Roamio OTA, Roamio, Roamio Plus, Roamio Pro, Premiere 4 or an XL4/Elite device), then i would say no. Best bet would be to contact tivo directly with the exact model of the unit you have and they can confirm compatibility with the mini.

- Answer I believe the answer is yes. You'd need to purchase a special set of accessory cables from either Tivo or Weaknees. On Tivo the cables are referred to as the A/V Breakout Cable Kit. There is a single connector (looks like a 3.5 MM connector but it's not) that plugs into the Tivo Mini, then the other ends allow you to connect with either composite (red, white, yellow) and/or component plugs (red/green/blue),

- Answer No. This Mini unit Requires a Tivo main unit to function. As far as I know, Tivo's are not compatible with satellite service unless purchased/rented from the satellite company.
