Q: QuestionWe watch a lot of free over-the-air tv from our antenna. I want a tv that has a built in "guide" function. Does this have a guide so i can scroll through the guide to see what is on? Or, must i flip to each channel to see what is on that channel?

• A:Answer If you're using a replacement remote, you likely have the version which does not work with Fire Edition TVs. (It doesn't say so on the box, unfortunately.) If you're trying to pair with the remote that came with the TV, try unplugging the TV for a few seconds and removing the batteries from the remote. Then, plug the TV back in and put the batteries in the remote. That should be enough to make it pair, but if necessary holding the home button may help.

Q: QuestionJust bought this TV via Open box, it did not come with a remote control. I have another Toshiba Fire TV and tried to use that remote which turned the TV on, but when it prompts to enter the settings menu I hit the button on the remote and nothing happens.

• A:Answer By my understanding, you can only pair the remote to one TV at a time and that might be why you experienced these issues. Try getting into contact with the Best Buy where you purchased the TV; the same happened to me with an Open Box purchase and the store was able to go through the manufacturer to purchase the correct Toshiba-branded Fire Edition TV remote. They're hard to find online, unfortunately, and regular replacement remotes for Fire TV do not work with these sets.
