• A:Answer Whichever unit you plug into your modem (where the internet signal is brought in from your ISP) will become the router, and the other two will be nodes, or access points. All will broadcast the WiFi signal through you home.

Q: QuestionI purchased this system because I have multiple ring stick up outdoor cams. The signal is great on all the cams but the videos are pixelated and freeze. I’ve changed multiple settings but still no progress. Any advice?

• A:Answer I would say at least one per floor in your house. I have some spread out areas that I needed coverage on one of three floors and I ended up putting two on that floor, so for my three floors I have 4 satellites.

• A:Answer Hi Candit96, No, only the main Deco needs to be connected with Ethernet to your existing Internet source (e.g., modem, ONT, gateway). The remaining units can then connect using Mesh Wi-Fi.
