A:Answer It would be just the same as a normal doorbell with a transformer providing 24 volts of power to it if you're going to run it wired. So if you are going to replace a standard wired doorbell that already has 24 volts going to it, then you are fine. If you don't have this and you want to power it, then you would want to power it by feeding 24 volts from a doorbell transformer to wherever you mount the doorbell camera with an 18 gauge, two lead wire.
