QuestionCan I view on a desktop computer or do I have to use my cell phone to see who is at the door? Does TP-Link have a desktop app?

- Answer Viewing on a desktop computer requires RTSP is only available on Wired-Powered cameras. So to view it on a dual-power doorbell, the doorbell would need to be connected to home wiring.

QuestionI have a standard wired doorbell. Does this unit connect to that existing wiring to be used in the wired (not battery-powered) mode? Or does standard doorbell wiring have to be upgraded?

- Answer Hi Janet, The Tapo Video Doorbell is not designed for horizontal installation. While it does support an image inversion feature, it inverts vertically only. The doorbell's camera FOV is also optimized for vertical orientation.

QuestionDoes this have the ability to record 24/7 or just motion detected will it begin recording? Google Nest doesn't have 24/7 recording and I'm wondering if its the same?

QuestionIs it possible to see a review on Best Buy that is NOT from customers who were incentivized in some sort of way. In other words, customers that are less likely to have bias to review products positively because they received a freebie or reward? Smh.
