QuestionI have mine hooked up with the optical cable, and the sound is good while watching the actual feature on Blu-ray, but no sound when I watch DVD's or during the previews. It seems like it's searching for a source at these times. What can I do?

- Answer The top left button on the remote is the button to search for input. Give that a try.

QuestionJust bought vizio 2.0 and hooked it up to insignia tv and it worked. I have directv. Wanted to watch a movie that was already started, I rewind movie and speaker won't work. I'm using digital optical cable. Movie is over and still not working

- Answer One check the inputs. Two, do a scan. You may have lost the signal input from your digital optical. If it does not work, replace hook up to coaxial or rca, if possible.

- Answer Yes, as long as the av receiver has rca output or optical for the center channel

- Answer The soundbar should have a pre-amp Sub Out on the rear. So, you should be able to use your own powered subwoofer.

QuestionJust recently bought this speaker and I hooked it up to my phone to play music off of my bluetooth on my phone in order to test it out. After I was done, I turned off the bluetooth on my phone and after that the speaker stopped working. How can I fix it?

- Answer I kinda had a similar experience using my headphones through the speaker to watch TV. I kept messing with it & it finally let go of the headphones.

QuestionI had no problem setting the sound bar up. There is all ways a BUT. When I change channels I hear a bang. Its sounds like a gun shoot. Is there anything that I can do in the settings to fix this problem?

QuestionHow good is the bass, I want to buy this sound bar for listening to music and for my Amazon echo dot, but I want to make sure the base is not terrible for just the sound bar, I want to know if I have to buy the Subwufer right away or not

- Answer I would probably recommend getting a subwoofer if you're really serious about bass. That being said, the built in bass works well enough for me and when I play music on it I don't have any issues with the quality. I haven't felt the need to buy the subwoofer yet.

QuestionI have this soundbar hooked up via the optical cable to a brand new Samsung 7000 series TV. I can't get the sound to work on the soundbar via the optical cable and when I use the Bluetooth function it has a very noticeable delay. Any advice?

- Answer Your blu-ray player must have another audio output besides the hdmi ports. You use the hdmi port for video like you always do and the other audio port (hopefully coaxial or toslink (optical) that will plug right in to the bar.

- Answer After purchasing this item, I can provide my own answer, which is that it depends on the TV and on the particular output. With my Sharp TV the TV volume control will change the sound bar volume if you're using the standard audio output (and your'e set up for variable audio out). If you're connected to the optical audio output, it won't. This probably varies from TV to TV.
