- Answer If you look inside your case documentation and it says there is at least one 3.5 inch drive bay or mount then this drive is a great one to get. Most cases have at least one drive bay so I would assume you should be fine.

QuestionFor the 4TB, the Cache Buffer Size is 64MB or 256MB? I only see a 256M for 4TB on WD website. Is this WD4005FZBX?

- Answer According to the WD datasheet, this drive has only a 64mb cache, at least the drive I purchased in-store. Even the specs on this page shows 64mb cache. I'm not happy b/c the store sales person swore it had a 256mb cache (buffer). Not so. The model number I received is "WDBSLA0040HNC-NRSN" Amazon is selling a Black 4TB drive with 256mb cache for about $128

- Answer Of course it can but for a Server you might want to get WD RED NAS drives they are made for NAS and RAID assuming you are using the drive for storage or application data.
