• A:Answer No. Since the HDD inside is a desktop hard drive, the computer can't supply the power needed.

Q: QuestionI am trying to connect my My Book 8TB to my Netgear Nighthawk x10 router to use as a Plex Media Server. After a number of discussions, I reformatted to NFTS first and then added my media as MP4. Anyone have success?

• A:Answer Ummm... Why not connect it to a desktop and have Plex server running in the background? That's what I did; its easy to set up and it works just fine. And I have a variety of media; AVI, MKV, MP4, audio files and photos. Good luck.

• A:Answer I've never tried it, honestly, but I dont see why you wouldn't. It would depend on what it's formatted as though, check the TV support page and see if the TV supports NTFS or ExFat (if ExFat is supported thats the better option for large video files)
