- Answer Mine has never gone into sleep mode so probably doesn't have one power went out abd ps5 just repaired the drive after it repaired itself

- Answer Yes, you can add folders to it on a PC. It operates like any other external drive. I don't know about any restrictions on Apple products.

- Answer Just plug in the "Passport" and it will be recognized by "Plug and Play", then 1) format Passport, 2) partition if you want to have virtual storage drives, 3) create virtual drives to store backup or mirror files.

QuestionI bought this to use with my Mac Pro and it was great. There is a password. I gave my Mac away and got the iPad Pro 12.9”. I bought the apple usb c adapter and it still is not recognizing the hard drive. What could be going wrong here?
