- Answer You can use these drives for any purpose. Though it is specifically made for a console, a PC can put files onto it as well.

- Answer I believe you can unplug it, only when the system is off, and transport it and plug it into another system. It does not store any information on the console. It is the actual storage and all new files go directly to the drive, not the system.

- Answer Yes, this drive does work with PS4. I assume you will be putting games or movies on the drive. The drive will expand the amount of data capacity available to your PS4 for more games to be available.

- Answer This does not save application data on the drive. The Ps4 doesn't do that with any external drives. It'll keep games on it but for taking saves other places you need to use the PS Plus cloud saving system.

- Answer I found this to be extremely easy. Just plug into one of the USB ports on the, click into menu to confirm connection/ format of hard drive. Once connected and recognized you don't do anything else... it is seamless storage with no work... so we have been very happy.
