Q: QuestionHow can you remove the divider in the freezerI don't choose to use the icemaker and would like to have the top freezer basket more open.

• A:Answer (How about that worthless owner's manual, eh? What a joke!) The key to removing/adjusting the chunky plastic dividers is to release the clip on the front-to-back piece that holds it on the back rail. To do so, you need to push in on the bottom/under part of the clip to clear the rail, then pull up on the piece. Once you have that unclipped, it's fairly easy to work the entire dividers assembly out of the drawer. Hopefully you're able to get that done without removing the drawer. I wasn't. If you want to remove the drawer to get a better look, here's the video I found on YouTube showing how to do it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6UB7jPvwUrw You'll want to separate the left-right divider from the front-back divider and either reposition it or, like we did, leave it out altogether and reinstall the front-back divider to hold the ice bucket in position.

Q: QuestionBest Buy needs to provide this information. In-store meas was 68-1/2. Another vendor states 70. The one arriving from BB in 2 wks won't fit if 70.

• A:Answer The body of this Whirlpool refrigerator is 68.5 inches high. The measurement to the top of the door hinge is 69.5 inches high and goes back 6.5 inches from the face of the refrigerator. This machine is deep enough that the hinge should not impact or interfere with a standard over refrigerator kitchen cabinet but everyone's situation is different. I hope this helps.

Q: QuestionDo you need to hook the fridge up to a water source for the ice maker?I saw this one comes with a built in ice maker. Do you need to hook the fridge up to a water source for the ice maker? If the water source is too far, can you disable the ice maker function?

• A:Answer If you are not going to use the ice maker, there is a small wire "switch" that can be pushed up to disable that function. It has to have a water supply connected, although I don't have mine connected. So I just flipped the switch up.

• A:Answer Because of the way the pivots (hinges) are set up, the width is only a fraction of inch wider with the door at 90 deg (it's 33 inches with the door open at 90 deg. See my attached pic.

• A:Answer Hello Picky1, The ice maker can be turned off. Make sure to turn off the water supply if the ice maker will be turned off for long durations. If the ice maker is left on without a water supply, the Refrigerator will try and reduce the temperature to kick start ice production.

• A:Answer Yes, it is smudge proof. I had that same concern, and didn't purchase until I saw another whirlpool model in black on display so I could "test" it LOL.

• A:Answer Yes, magnets stick to the stainless steel and also on the sides of the refrigerator. It does show a lot of fingerprints daily, but I use windex and a microfiber towel to clean off the prints which works great. Hope this helps.

• A:Answer Take the front trim panel off below the freezer door. There are 2 screws. Lift up the front of the fridge with a crowbar. Rotate stops located next to the rollers until they hit the floor. Make sure the fridge is level and the door closes properly.

Q: QuestionIs the frige delivered with the door handles on or off? I may need to have them removed to fit through my door.

• A:Answer The door handles came removed in my case. There are two studs for each handle that screw into the door. The handle has two holes that line up on the studs and you then push down to lock them in place. To keep from having them come off and to hold them tightly, there are two hex screws on each handle you then tighten up. Easy.
