• A:Answer It does not scratch easily. But certain stains, like burned sugar are impossible to get out. It seems like it got into the glass somehow. Looks terrible. Looking to get a new top. Love the stove, has 4 burners along with a warmer unit.

Q: QuestionAre there any restrictions on what kind of cookware I use on this cooktop? Will I be able to use my cast iron frying pan? My vintage glass Pyrex Coffee pot? Thank you for your attention.

• A:Answer I have not found any restrictions. We do use a cast iron pan. The only suggestion would be to lift the pan off the burner and not drag it to avoid scratching the cooktop.

• A:Answer You should check under your countertop and measure the clearance to the nearest obstacle (vertical dimension). I had to do this too because my old cooktop was only 2.5 inches in depth. None of my drawers and cookware stored below interfered with the extra depth needed.
