Q: QuestionAre the top burners able to be adjusted for flame height? Read a complaint that the low setting on the burners was not low enough, cooking too high of heat. Can I calibrate the settings or am I stuck with the factory settings?

• A:Answer The low setting is still fairly hot. When I cook rice I have to remove the pot for 3-5 minutes to adjust. But it depends on the burner. If you use a smaller burner then you won’t have that issue but the big ones are hot

• A:Answer Hi Jhlc. In case of prolonged power failure, the surface burners can be lit manually. Hold a lit match near a burner and turn knob counterclockwise to LITE. After burner lights, turn knob to setting. We hope this helps.

• A:Answer I take them to the sink and use a brush to deep clean them. They are iron so if you rub them down with vegetable oil every now and then they stay fairly non stick
