A:AnswerThe water is evaporated by hot exhaust which is a nice feature. I have never had to drain water and none appears as liquid at exhaust hose outlet. However, manual states that it will shut down if water accumulates in a very high humidity situation. Then the unit can be drained manually to resume running. Beware that drain is at bottom and a low height pan would be needed to drain.
A:AnswerYes, hoses are 8" diameter, but will stretch out to nine feet, if needed. They compact and stretch as you need, so lots of flexibility to adjust.
A:AnswerI put it right next to my bed and aim it at me at night and I sleep like a baby. It is not loud enough to bother me. It is the second air condition I have owned and have always had in the bedroom. I don't like the room totally quiet anyway but really it is no distraction. This is a real nice air conditioner.
A:AnswerYes, there are two exhaust hoses, one for air out and one for air in. As you get larger or more powerful btu capability.. It seems to be more efficient to have two hoses.
A:AnswerYes. Mine will be installed in a sliding glass door and I will have A plastic panel to extend the bracket that is supplied. But the bracket can be used horizontally or vertically

A:AnswerWater is vaporized by the hot exhaust and does not drip out the exhaust. In very high humidity, manual states it will shut off if a high level accumulates in a pan at the bottom of the unit. This pan then has to be manually drained (may not be an easy task since it is at bottom of unit) before unit will run again.
