• A:Answer Hello, please refer to page 10 of the Use and Care Manual for Mounting Height, Clearance, & Ducting instructions. A minimum of 7” round for AK25 or 3-1/4” x 10” rectangular duct must be used to maintain maximum air flow efficiency for vertical ducting. For horizontal ducting, 3-1/4” x 10” rectangular duct is the minimum size. Thank you for your inquiry! -Zephyr

Q: QuestionAre the removable grease filters dishwasher safe?

• A:Answer Hello, Zephyr Typhoon, Hurricane and Cyclone hoods are filter-less with a self cleaning feature. The centrifugal blower system automatically liquefies cooking residue in its internal housing. All hoods are equipped with dishwasher safe residue cups to collect cooking residue during the self cleaning function. Cleaning should be performed approximately once a month under normal usage of 1 hour per day. The hood may need to be cleaned more often if you cook heavily. Thank you for your inquiry! - Zephyr

Q: QuestionI've been told that Zephyr hoods require that the exhaust be running in order for the lights to illuminate. Is it not possible to just have the lights on without the hood fan running?
